Education and Experience

  • Required: 2 – 3 years of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Job Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming phone calls.
  • Transfer calls to appropriate team members.
  • Take messages and relay them to appropriate people.
  • Handle incoming and outbound physical mail.
  • Print and apply postage to outbound mail.
  • Print and mail invoices to customers as needed.
  • File all paperwork related to orders/shipments. 
  • Receive and process orders by phone, mail, fax, or email.
  • Prepare sales orders for orders that are obtained from customers.
  • Inform the customer of unit prices, COD amounts, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any other pertinent information required by the customer.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse/shipping departments regarding any large/unusual orders and follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
  • Prepare proposals to existing customers.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Help Managers with preparing reports and/or performing data updates as needed. 
  • Full time, Monday – Friday, in-office job.

Skills

  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
