Education and Experience
- Required: 2 – 3 years of customer service experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Job Responsibilities
- Receive all incoming phone calls.
- Transfer calls to appropriate team members.
- Take messages and relay them to appropriate people.
- Handle incoming and outbound physical mail.
- Print and apply postage to outbound mail.
- Print and mail invoices to customers as needed.
- File all paperwork related to orders/shipments.Â
- Receive and process orders by phone, mail, fax, or email.
- Prepare sales orders for orders that are obtained from customers.
- Inform the customer of unit prices, COD amounts, shipping date, anticipated delays, and any other pertinent information required by the customer.
- Coordinate with the warehouse/shipping departments regarding any large/unusual orders and follow up on orders to ensure delivery by specified dates.
- Prepare proposals to existing customers.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Help Managers with preparing reports and/or performing data updates as needed.Â
- Full time, Monday – Friday, in-office job.
Skills
- Excellent planning and organizing skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
